3. Training Requirement:

- Provide fingerprint cards for background checks
- Pay required application fee
Armed Security Officer Additional Requirements:
Enhanced Training:
- Complete 12-hour firearm training course approved by DOPL
- 6 hours classroom instruction on legal firearm use and safety
- 6 hours range instruction with practical handling and qualification
Ongoing Requirements:
- Demonstrate proficiency with specific firearm to be carried
- Submit proof of completed firearm training
- Pay additional fees for armed licensure
