Every state has different requirements for applying to get a guard license. The general requirements are as follows:

You must be at least 18 years old,

You must undergo a criminal background check, and

you must complete an approved training course.

All of our online courses, both a-la-carte and initial / renewal options, contain information on how long they take to complete them. Students may to longer or shorter amounts of time to finish based on their competency and speed.  

We recommend that you reach out directly to the state / local agency that regulates the guard license. Ask them about "Disqualifying Convictions” that may affect your ability to obtain a license. 

Upon successfully completing a course, students have immediate access to download or print off their training certificate directly from their student dashboard. 

Students have access for one (1) year from the time they first initiate the course.
